Dialed Control is reversible by design. You restore the factory firmware with the official Focus V app, not with ours, so the way back never depends on Dialed.

  1. Make the official app offer the update.

    • Carta 2: press the main button 3 times for the menu, go to FV revert, and make sure it reads OFFER.
    • Carta Sport and Aeris: in the web app’s Settings, turn off Let the Focus V app work. OFFER is the default, so a device you never changed is already ready.
  2. Refresh the official app. Close the Focus V app completely and open it again, or toggle Bluetooth, so it reads the device’s revision afresh.

  3. Connect and update. The app shows its Update screen. Tap Update. The factory image streams to the device, which accepts it only because it is built for that device.

  4. Done. The device reboots into factory firmware.

When the factory firmware installs, Dialed Control first erases its own settings and session-log areas. The factory firmware never used those, so afterwards the device’s flash is exactly as the factory firmware left it: identity, Bluetooth address, calibration, and the factory’s own settings and logs are all untouched.

The one thing left over is the spare firmware bank, which keeps the non-bootable Dialed image. Any factory update leaves its previous image there in the same way.

You can install Dialed Control again at any time. See Install the firmware.
