What is Dialed Control?
Dialed Control is an independent firmware for Focus V e-rigs. It replaces the software that runs on the device, keeps everything the factory firmware does, and adds the things it does not: temperature curves, a hold-to-dial control grammar, lights that show real state, and a companion web app you run in your browser.
It is built from our own reverse engineering, datasheets and bench measurements, not from recycled third-party patches. It is reversible by design: every build so far can go back to stock, and the way back is one tap in the official Focus V app.
What stays the same
Section titled “What stays the same”- Classic mode behaves the way the device always has: one fixed temperature for a set time, with the same five presets per atomizer type the Focus V app reads and writes. See Classic mode.
- The official Focus V app keeps working with your presets, lights, settings and temperature readout. See Using the Focus V app.
- The factory gestures, timings and safety limits are the same. The button decoder is a tick-for-tick port of the factory one.
What is new
Section titled “What is new”- Curve mode: sessions that follow a temperature curve of one to eight stages, with four ramp styles and six built-in curves.
- One-button grammar: hold to dial a value, hold again to save. It works on devices with no screen.
- Lights that show real state: preheating, ready, running, hot and charging each have their own look, plus a stealth mode.
- The web app: edit presets, curves and lights, watch a live session, read your history, back everything up, and update the firmware, all over Bluetooth from the browser.
- Smart standby: an optional always-on mode that wakes instantly and keeps the clock.
