Classic mode

Classic is a session at one fixed temperature for a set time. It behaves the way the device always has, so nothing changes for you, and the official Focus V app still works with it.

Presets

There are five presets for each atomizer type, concentrate and flower, plus a custom value. Each preset is a temperature and a duration, and can have a name. It is the same table the Focus V app reads and writes, so edits made in either app show up in the other.

• On the one-button devices, 1 click steps to the next slot. The light shows the slot’s colour and a count.
• On the Carta 2, hold on the home screen opens the slot picker.
• Edit presets from the web app, or by dialing a value on the device:
  • One-button: hold for 1 s, then each click adds 5 °F (2 °C). Hold again to save.
  • Carta 2: + and − on the home screen.

Limits

The device enforces these, whatever an app asks for.

In °C the flower range is 145–260 on all three, and concentrate is 185–335 on the Carta 2 and Sport and 185–315 on the Aeris.

If a value is outside the limit, the device uses the nearest allowed value and the web app shows you what it stored.

During a session

• +10 s extends the session by ten seconds, once per session (like the factory firmware).
• Stop is always one click away.
• On the Carta 2, + and − change the live temperature.

Quick heat

Quick heat is the factory cleaning heat. On the one-button devices it is “click, then hold for 10 seconds” from off. It is not a heat to maximum: it warms the chamber to a fixed temperature and holds it until you press the button.
