Using the Focus V app
The official Focus V app keeps working with Dialed Control. Which parts it sees depends on one setting.
What the Focus V app sees

OFFER or QUIET
Section titled “OFFER or QUIET”Dialed Control reports a software revision to the Focus V app. You choose which:

| OFFER (default) | An older revision than any real release | The app shows its Update screen and offers the one-tap factory restore. The app otherwise refuses to work. |
| QUIET | A newer revision than any real release | The app never asks you to update. Presets, lights, settings and temperature readout work normally. |
OFFER is the default so the way back to stock is always on offer. Switch to QUIET when you want to use the official app day to day.
Change it
Section titled “Change it”- Carta 2: menu, then FV revert. It cannot be changed while the device is locked.
- Carta Sport and Aeris: Let the Focus V app work in the web app’s Settings.
The change shows the next time the Focus V app connects, so close the app completely and open it again.
Not recommended: two apps at once
Section titled “Not recommended: two apps at once”Only one app can be connected to the device at a time. Disconnect one before connecting the other.
